A project by community for community. Yokchi Chang of IYKYK Hi-Fi and curator Emily Thurman host a seasonal Hi-Fi listening journey starting on winter solstice as we travel back towards the sun to the spring equinox. These sessions feature full album discovery, and unreleased music in collaboration with many musicians around the world.
Our first session December 21 will feature Beirut and Paris based musician Charbel Haber a track of mesmeric reverberated ambient guitar. Along with a full album journey of Endlessness by Belgian musician Nala Sinephro.

Social Disco Club, is proud to announce the launch of Ladies Choice---a new series dedicated to showcasing women and female-identifying vinyl djs and curators. Denver-based DJ, Brenda Robles (aka Precious Blood) and Social Disco Club Founder, Yokchi Chang, have partnered up to create Ladies Choice in an effort to provide a safe space for empowerment and togetherness through the music and vinyl of the disco era.
Robles and Chang wanted to address the lack of representation in an otherwise male dominated industry and create a community to honor the spirit of the social movements from the time when disco was at its peak.
Xica Soul is a Los Angeles, CA based DJ and radio host who began DJing in San Francisco in 2010. She hosts a monthly radio show as a resident of Artform Radio on Worldwide-FM, and a weekly radio…
